Quote of the Week
Admitting his fear somehow lessened it. He wasn't lost, or hurt, or even hungry. A rumble from his tummy made him realize maybe that last part wasn't true, but his owner had given him a Baby Cabbage Hot Dog before sending him to the Lodge, so he was a long way from true hunger.
Shop Limit Change & The R99 Economy
Greetings and welcome to my article.. or you may call it a rant! It's mainly a casually written article from an experienced Neopets player written in a way to vent my views at the changes and to inform other unknowing people. I am a r99 (Rarity 99 Item) gallery owner and this affects me and other collectors directly., and it probably affects you whether you're aware of it or not.As you may notice, the shop limit has changed from the regular 100,000 NP cap to 999,999 NP effective on the 27th March 2018. This means that previously unbuyable items in the 100k to 1 mill range have now become effectively buyable on the shop wiz. Now, I am not economist and haven't studied anything of the sort in university (although I am educated in another field), but I enjoy speculation and this article will provide my viewpoints of what has happened and what may be to come in the future of the Neopets r99 economy due to this change.

Why can't babies fly? A Baby Uni's story
One morning of a year not that long ago all Neopian babies gathered to the shadow of a tree that looked suspiciously like the Money Tree if you were to ask me. Here were Baby Kois, Baby Gnorbus, Baby Buzzes every baby you could think of. Diapers, bibs and a little bit of cries, tons of goo and some jam, all what might need babies in order to have fun. The reunion seemed peaceful, they were discussing baby themes such as blankets, pacifiers and milk. Just like the previous reunion, nothing they haven't already seen. There was this certain Baby Uni with a dream, she was just a little baby but her dream was big. Why couldn't little baby pets fly? Just spread their wings and dance in the air. Her dream was so big, so intense and fiercely she wanted, she raised her paw and courage in hand started to talk to them all.
The sky so blue. The clouds so soft. The air so pure. She was tired of green grass of flowers and rocks, she wanted to reach the sky and dance around the stars. With that thought in mind Baby Uni went to bed and when her eyelids closed and dreamland came she just couldn't avoid going to the place she wanted most. Deep blue with a dusting of silver stars like freckles, some white clouds that looked so much like cotton.

TIP FIVE: THERE ARE ALWAYS FAR WORSE PLACES TO WORK
As the Month of Eating (which is a strange name for a month, by the way) began, my semi-lazy job search continued as I lagged during my hunt for the perfect thing to do for the rest of my life. The differing attempts I’ve tried were all humongo failures: the Post Office didn’t want me to spend all my time admiring all of their pretty stamps; Gifts Galore didn’t work out due to my many mishaps with their old-fashioned cash register-contraption; and the bakers at the Bakery accused me of swiping seven cupcakes (though I only stole two). At first I assumed I was cursed with finding good jobs and that—hopefully, if curses actually existed—I could spend the rest of my days relaxing and watching happy Neopians frolic and enjoying themselves during dramatic events on Neovision. Yet as idyllic as this would be, everything came CRASHING down because of one near minded, egotistical, self-absorbed num-skull who just had to apply me at a store I cared very little for. And that traitor was……..CLAUDIA!
(All my readers should gasp and/or faint now)
So you’re probably wondering how Claudia—rather than that treacherous Andrew—was able to unintentionally ruin my life for a brief period of time.

Taking a Trip
The Mountain Lodge. Again. Taliskerdragon sighed, his green tail twitching as he waited to check in. The pretty Strawberry Kacheek behind the counter was busy with a Magma Lenny fussing about the temperature of the sauna and hadn't done more than flash him an apologetic smile.
Boris liked mountains, that was true, but why did his owner always pick this place for him to stay? He knew every inch of the lodge, every meal on the menu, every view from every window. Coming here wasn't fun. Coming here was boring!
Decision made, he picked up his suitcase and hurried to the door. He didn’t HAVE to stay here! He was six years old and he knew his way around Neopia. He wouldn't fall for the tricksters in the Haunted Woods or let an alien Aisha persuade him to waste his nerkmids in the Vending Machine.
Outside, a chilly wind blew and he huddled his plaid jacket around him, wishing his owner had given him gloves and boots. He wouldn't have needed them inside the lodge, of course.
Choosing a path leading into the forest, he set off. The path led to a village, he was sure of it, and he'd find a different place to stay for the Month of Running. When his owner came back for him, he'd be waiting in the Mountain Lodge lobby and she'd be none the wiser.

|Of Silence: Signed and Sealed|
I’ll be honest and say that I am rather relieved to finally be hearing back from you. The lack of communication these past half-dozen-or-so months had me genuinely concerned about your wellbeing.
|The Aisha Twins:Part Five|
After a difficult path with multiple setbacks, like being outbid on their lab map piece and losing hundreds of thousands of neopoints through a gambling incident, Milly and Lilly, the twin Aishas, finally obtained the final portion of their Secret Laboratory Map.
