GAMES ROOM - Many of you probably skip past the game- the Igloo Garage Sale. I
hardly ever do. The only time I do is when I'm heading towards another game AFTER
I've played it three times. The actual shop, the sale, is a discounted place.
The game, however, gives you a lot of NPs (Neopoints), pretty quickly.
Lets start with the basics. Whether you're a newbie, or a oldie, you're guaranteed
to love this game. Basically, the rules are:
1. You cannot let more then five items fall during one round.
2. Watch out for bombs and pianos - that can cost you that life.
3. You have 30 seconds to catch all the items that drop.
4. The point system is as follows:
Pink Bag - 1x Point
Black and White Candy - 2x Points
Umbrella - 3x Points
Red Korbat Morphing Potion - 5x Points
Rainbow Brush - 10x Points
Two Hundred Dubloon Coin - 50x Points
Obviously, it is better to go for the items that give you more points and let
the other items fall (only if you have absolutely no other choice).
You move Mika around underneath, and Carassa drops the items. Once you get
used to the controls, it is a very good game. If you hold down right, but want
to stop, you have to 'tap' the left key until you stop. The opposite goes for
the other direction. If you need to jump, press the up arrow. If you catch every
item that falls, apart from bombs and pianos, you get a bonus. Say you got twenty
points on the second level, you get a twenty point bonus. Now for the levels:
Level 1:
A basic level, mainly for the purpose of getting used to the controls.
Level 2:
Some items start to fall quickly, but mainly another slow level.
Level 3:
You should be used to the controls by now, and things pick up the pace.
Level 4:
If you get all the bonuses from previous levels, you're doing pretty well.
Level 5:
Make sure you're quick on your feet with this one - otherwise you're going to
be in trouble!
Level 6:
Items fall so fast, I usually die on this level.
Level 7:
If you've made it this far, (and I have quite a few times), then you're a natural.
Things are going super-fast, with the occasional slow one. By now, Carassa is
dropping several items at once.
Level 8:
I've only made it to here once or twice, it is extremely difficult and you have
a high chance of getting the message: GAME OVER.
That is basically all there is to it. If you've made it over level 8, please
let me know.
One last bad thing about the game: A lot of people panic when too many items
come down at once, hence loose all of them, get a GAME OVER, and have to start
again. Keep your cool, and quickly think everything out. I know you can do it.
One last good thing about the game: say you get my average of 500 points in
the game, when you send it you'll find out that you get 500 NPs as well!!
If you're still here, thank-you for spending the time to read this. I hope
this helps you keep your pets happy and healthy. This is kimbo7100. Over and
out.
Note: This guide was published AFTER it was written. I am in no way liable
for any changes made in the game, making this guide wrong. Thanks for your time.
