Hello Neopians! Today we'll talk about things we don't need, what can we do
with them, and junk changes in the future.
Basically, there are things in Neopia you might want to stear clear from,
such as Tombola Booby Prizes, Magical Plushies, PIZZA OF DEATH, and gift items.
Some of the Tombola Booby Prizes are food items; others are useless thing-a-lings.
The food items are okay; it's less expensive to feed your NeoPets now! But the
food items your NeoPets might not like, so you can consider them junk once in
a while. The islands merchandise; is completely useless. You can't do anything
with them, unless you have a Skeith of course. The magical plushies you absolutely
must steer clear from. For instance you have a beautiful starry Lupe. You bought
a Magical Blue Meerca Plushie, since you love your Lupe so much. So you decide
to have your Lupe play with the magical plushie, and BOOM! Your Lupe turned
into a blue Meerca. So you shouldn't buy magical plushies unless you want a
cheap morphing potion. The PIZZA OF DEATH, I have no idea what it does. But
it says to beware of it; and the Neopets Staff knows best. The gift items like
the merchandise are completely useless.
There are many things we can do with junk items. The Tombola Booby Prizes
we can do lots of things with. The bottles of sand make lovely items to decorate
on your NeoHome mantle, and are great decor. Toy Sail Boats you can try making
a ship in a bottle, or you can use them to deliver messages. Try with the Tiki
Tack Key Rings to hang on your window; they also look lovely hanging from your
NeoHome mantle. You can try collecting the Palm Fans and weave them into an
exotic blanket, or you can use them to make dresses for your female NeoPets
needing clothing. Some things to do with the Magical Plushies are trying to
experiment them on stray PetPets to see if they work on PetPets, you could send
them to your enemies, or the best-but-not-so-original thing is to just discard
them. With the PIZZA OF DEATH, oh. I thought you'd never ask. DISCARD THEM IMMEDIATELY!
The gift items you obviously send to your friends.
Junk items are not going to remain junk items for a long time. That's why
we have the Safety Deposit Box. What is now being given away for 1 NP can in
the future be sold for 10,000 NP. For example, say that there's suddenly a shortage
of Bottles of Blue Sand. The prices will rise up, maybe to over 100K NP. If
you've been on Neopets for 1 year or longer, you'll remember this. Once the
Neonip Critters had once been tossed away for 3 NP. Now, they cost 1,000 NP.
What's the meaning of that? There's been a shortage. Remember: use your Safety
Deposit Box and store away for a rainy day!
