In the house of 21137 Island Crescent, Mystery Island, lived three pets and
their one owner. The three pets were a Kiko named _Kikyo_, an Eyrie named The_Dog_Bird,
and a Nimmo/Techo named _Evil_Frogger_. The owner's name was Leona, but everyone
in Neopia knew her as water_Kiko_57. Leona was (and still is) in a guild HQ
none other than...The
Kiko Puddle! Now that's enough with the introduction, it's time for
the story!!!
The three pets played with their Chia plushies as Leona organized her plushie
collection...
"Yay! Super Chia! The greatest green Chia of all!" yelled Kikyo.
"Oh give me a break, Kikyo. Super Chia sounds lame. Warrior Chia is the strongest
red Chia of all," replied Dog-Bird.
"Face it both of those are just not as cool as Dr. Chia...the most evil blue
Chia in the gallery of evil. That's every Chia's desire, to be like that,"
Evil-Frogger said.
"Nah-ah. My friend's a Chia. She wants to be a Deckball champion, not a bad
Chia," said Kikyo.
"Well that's because she's a girl!" retorted Evil-Frogger.
"Well a lota Chias wanna be Battledome champs!" Dog-Bird yelled back.
"Guys stop fighting or your Chias go to storage!" Leona threatened as she walked
in. "Anyway it's almost time for Kiko scouting duty at the pound," Leona said
much calmer this time.
"Noooo!" exclaimed the three of them this time.
"I hate it there!" cried Kikyo.
"Me too!" agreed Evil-Frogger.
"Me three!" agreed Dog-Bird.
"I do too, but who knows maybe you might get a new sister or brother,"
Leona replied.
"Oo! I hope we get a sister!" they exclaimed.
So the four were off to the Adoption Centre.

The four walked up the stone stairs and entered the building. The three pets
all flinched at the sight of Dr_Death. The keeper of disowned NeoPets. Then
they walked along to the cheery Uni at the adopt desk. "Right this way,"
The Uni guided. She lead the four Neopians into a room full of cages with crying
pets in them.
"Hey Misses! Pick me!" cried a cute blue Scorchio. "Yay! I'm leaving this place!"
said an exited Aisha as it was being handed to its new owner.
Leona and her pets began exploring the aisles of disowned pets. As the group
of four walked past some pets, they began crying out to be saved. NeoPets came
in and out by the dozens. Yet, Leona never seemed to find exactly what she was
looking for.
"Can we go home now?" moaned Dog-Bird.
"In a few minutes, if I don't get interested in anything," replied Leona.
Then, there it was, between a yellow Skeith and a red Usul sat a lonely green
Shoyru bawling for attention. "Come back, owner! Don't leave me alone!" it cried.
"Once you're left here you may never get out," squeaked the Usul. "I've
been here for a week and a half. No one wants me..." At that the Usul turned
away from the Shoyru and talked to a Jubjub next to it.
"Excuse me sir," Leona said to a man who worked at the pound. "Can you tell
me about that Shoyru there?"
"Oh, yah," he answered. "His name's Vash87. He just came in today. Green,
level one, costs 56 NP."
Leona took 60 NP out of her heavy wallet and handed it to the man. After the
man gave Leona her change, she picked up Vash87 and to her surprise Vash was
holding something. "What's this?" Leona inquired. The picture looked like this:
"Cute," she said to Vash.

When the five got to 21137 Island Crescent, Mystery Island, Kikyo, Dog-Bird,
Evil-Frogger and Leona quickly made Vash feel at home.
"Vash, this is your cute lil' Chia plushie," Leona said as she handed Vash
a yellow Chia plushie.
"Yay!" Vash hugged his Chia plushie and then sat down.
At dinner, Vash would not eat his cheeseburger or drink his apple juice. "You
haven't even touched your burger. What's wrong with it?" Leona inquired.
"I want donuts. And red wine," Vash replied.
"Well, eat your food and then you can have all the donuts you want," Leona
said.
"Okie," Vash said and gobbled up his food.
"Leona, can we go walk our PetPets at Faerieland?" Evil-Frogger asked.
"Yeah. But let's get some desert first!" Leona said.
Kikyo ran to her room and came back with her Anubis, Anu, on a purple leash.
Dog-Bird got his Greeble, Greeble out of its tank and Evil-Frogger got his Wadjet,
Snakey out of its tank. Leona ran to her SDB (safety deposit box) and punched
in a number on the keypad. The large steel door opened and she came out with
an Uggatrip. "Vash this is your PetPet. You can call him whatever you please,"
Leona explained to Vash.
"His name is Blaze!" Vash cried cheerily.
With that the five Neopians enjoyed the rest of the day eating junk food, playing
with toys, playing with Kikos at The Kiko Puddle, and watching movies at the
SpyKids Theatre.
On that great day came the 4th pet.
