How to Play NeoPets Games to Earn NP

by scottypritchett

GAME ROOM- One of the many pleasures of Neopets is to go out, and be able to buy that million Neopoint Battledome weapon! Now you got one part of the equation solved: dreams, now all you got to do is get the Neopoints! This article will (hopefully) help you earn Neopoints

As a pretty good player I thought I’d tell Neopia about my secrets, of how I earn Neopoints I’ve earned all my Neopoints from NeoPets flash games. I make a load of money doing this, but I must warn you, that playing games to earn Neopoints is time consuming and sometimes frustrating.

I make 10,000 to 20,000 Neopoints a day, by playing NeoPets flash games. When I first started out I chose the games to play everyday. I chose the games I enjoyed playing the most, I am good at, and pay well. If this is your first time playing games for Neopoints, you might want to play a lot of the flash games and find what ones you like best, this is what I did. If you like puzzles or gambling, you could go into those categories in the game room, but most of the flash games are in the action category. Once you find the games you like, and pay well, you’ll soon get a pattern going, you’ll know what games you play daily and in what order.

Once you have chosen all the games you like, set a goal for each day. Mine during the school year is: 10,000 Neopoints, and during summer break 20,000 Neopoints If you do not reach your daily goal you might want to play more games, or set your goal lower. (Make sure you play each of the selected games 3x a day)

You have your main goal set, but you don’t know what scores to send, and what scores not to send. What I do is: set “mini goals”. These tell me what the minimum score, I can send in is. For example: I know I can make 1,000 Neopoints from the game: extreme potato counter, sending scores in 3x. So I know I have to have a minimum score that equals: 333 Neopoints, on all three game scores sent in, in order to reach my mini goal of 1,000 Neopoints

You’ve got your sights set, you know what games to play, but there is one problem: you don’t know what game score you need to reach the minimum Neopoint amount for your mini goal. For example: on Extreme Potato Counter, you don’t know what score to get, to earn 333 Neopoints or above. This problem could be solved by experimenting with the games, finding what score area you need to score in. If I have lost you there is an example: Since my mini goal is set at 1,000 Neopoints on Extreme Potato Counter, I know from experience, and experimentation that I need to get around 50-55 points in the game, to get around 333 Neopoints There is usually a Neopoint to score ratio on games, like Escape From Meridell Castle, your score is doubled and those are your Neopoints So if I got a score of 300, I’d get 600 Neopoints Also be flexible in sending in your score, if you get a score that when sent in is 310 Neopoints, send it in, because chances are you’ll get a score that equals 400 Neopoints or better in the next two games.

When there is a “featured game”, you would probably want to play it, because it gives you a 2x Neopoint bonus. So if you send in a score that equals 400 Neopoints, and it’s the featured game, it would give you a 2x bonus, so instead of earning 400 Neopoints you’d earn 800 Neopoints Even if the featured game isn’t one you play daily still try it, remember it IS double Neopoints! If the featured game is one that you play daily your in luck, since you play the game three times daily you are probably good at it, remember the maximum Neopoints you can earn in one game is 1,000. If you have extra Neopoints left, you could put them into your shop till for spending money on quests or so, or you could put them into your bank account along with your initial deposit.

Playing games is quite a time consuming art, and takes patience. Over your summer break, you could increase the number of games you play, therefore earning more Neopoints, because you have more time to play. Over the school year you might want to tone down your games, to the best paying, funnest, and the ones your best at. I myself had to cut down on my games played, because I didn’t have enough time; I toned down my games so I have enough time, so now I earn 10,000 Neopoints a day over the school year, and 20,000 Neopoints over the weekends and summer break.

To give you an idea, I have listed all the games I play daily, in order from the first games to the last games. (Note: The scores are listed in the actual game score, and not in the Neopoints earned, also the scores are from recently played games)

During the school year I usually spend 2-3 hours each day, playing games. Over summer break, I spend 4-5 hours each day playing games. As you see playing games for Neopoints is time consuming work, but promising.

If you don’t have 2-5 hours each day, to play games, I’d recommend making Neopoints through trades and auctions. I hope you enjoyed my article as much as I did writing it. I hope it helps you out, also, remember to have FUN!
